Common questions about our machinery, ordering, shipping, and support.
Product Capabilities
Chop saws cut lumber, cants, and blocks to fixed lengths. The operator (or an automated feed system) positions material, the blade comes down, and you get a clean crosscut at a precise length. Used in pallet plants, sawmills, and crate operations.
Trim saws square the ends of boards moving through a production line. Material passes through on powered rollers, and the trim heads cut one or both ends as the board moves. Used in high-volume sawmill and planer operations where boards need consistent length.
Cutoff saws (chain bar saws, log saws) use a chain bar blade instead of a circular blade. They handle larger logs, irregular material, and rough cuts that would stall a circular blade. Used for log-to-length cutting, slab processing, and firewood operations.
Yes. Our chop saws, trim saws, and cutting machinery are designed for both hardwood and softwood applications. We'll ask about your typical material when specifying equipment to make sure you get the right blade, motor, and feed system.
Lead times vary based on current production schedule and equipment type. Custom orders typically take 4-8 weeks, but we often have stock machines ready to ship. Contact us with what you need and we'll give you a firm delivery date.
Yes. We can connect you with equipment financing partners who understand the lumber and pallet industry. They offer competitive terms for new and used machinery purchases. Ask when requesting a quote and we'll include financing options.
Custom Equipment
Yes. We design and fabricate custom machinery for specific applications: non-standard cutting lengths, specialized material handling, integration with existing equipment. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish and we'll engineer a solution.
We start by understanding your production requirements, space constraints, and integration needs. Our team provides a proposal with specs, pricing, and timeline. Once approved, we build, test, and install. You get a machine designed for exactly what you do.
Support & Service
Yes. We offer installation services for all our machinery. Our team will set up the equipment, integrate it with your production line, and train your operators on safe and efficient use. Installation is quoted separately or included in your equipment package.
New equipment comes with a standard warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by equipment type. We'll include specific warranty details in your quote. Extended warranty options are available for most machinery.
We ship throughout the United States and can arrange international shipping depending on the equipment and destination. International buyers should contact us directly for shipping quotes and logistics requirements.
Yes. We support legacy equipment with replacement parts, blades, and components. Provide us with your machine serial number or model and we'll locate the parts you need.
Applications
Our primary customers are in the lumber, pallet, and sawmill industries. We also supply equipment for crate manufacturing, truss production, and any operation requiring precision cutting of wood materials.
Yes. Our saws are compatible with pressure-treated lumber and other treated materials. We can recommend blade choices and maintenance practices based on the materials you're processing.
Dismantlers break down pallets and crates into reusable components for pallet repair or reuse. Recycler equipment processes wood waste into chips, mulch, or biofuel feedstock. We offer both depending on whether you're recovering value from used pallets or managing waste streams.
Yes. We have a rotating inventory of used and refurbished machinery. These units are inspected, serviced, and carry a limited warranty. Used equipment is a cost-effective option for expanding capacity or replacing aging machines.
Technical
Most of our chop saws and trim saws run on standard 3-phase power (208V, 230V, or 460V depending on motor size). Single-phase options are available for smaller machines. We'll confirm what your facility needs before delivery.
All our machinery meets or exceeds OSHA safety requirements. Safety features include blade guards, emergency stops, interlocks, and protective shields. We can discuss specific safety features for each equipment model.
Yes. Our conveyor systems are designed for integration. We can match roller types, widths, and speeds to your existing production line. Custom control interfaces are available to connect with your current automation.
Buying Process
Use our contact form, call us at (800) 840-4741, or email with your requirements. We'll ask about your production needs, space constraints, and timeline, then provide a detailed quote with equipment specs and delivery schedule.
Yes. For larger installations or complex integration projects, we can visit your facility to assess your operation and recommend equipment. Site visits help us ensure the machinery we provide fits your space and workflow.
We accept standard payment terms for B2B purchases, including NET 30 for established accounts with approved credit. Various financing options are available through our partners. Payment terms are outlined in your quote.
Choosing the Right Equipment
At that volume, a Fully Automated Chop Saw is the right fit. Powered rollers feed material, air stops index to your cut length, and the clamp and head cycle automatically. One operator loads while the saw runs the cut cycle. If you're cutting blocks under 6" × 6", the Block Saw is a lower-cost option that still keeps one operator productive all day.
The Standard Chop Saw is the baseline Morgan machine. 22" blade capacity, manual operation, 15' of powered rollers standard. It handles up to 6" × 12" stock. Simple, heavy, and rebuildable. For smaller stock (under 6" × 6"), the Baby Chop Saw is compact at 5' long with a 16" blade and 4 preset stops. Both are affordable entry points that you can upgrade later with powered feed and stops.
The Auto Trim Saw is built for inline board trimming. Four-chain feed system with dogs every 16" moves boards through the heads. It handles boards 16" to 54" wide and accepts 10" to 14" blades. For higher volume, the Multi-Head Trim Saw trims both ends simultaneously with configurable head spacing. For a lower-cost option, the Single-Head Trim Saw trims one end per pass.
The Single Head Notcher handles one-notch stringers. The Double Notch Saw cuts both notches in one pass for two-way entry pallets. For three-way entry pallets, the Triple Notcher cuts three notches simultaneously. All use pneumatic clamping and can be configured for your stringer dimensions.
